alright so week three update and i know i’m being punished!!! i was joking with someone about being stagnant last week and i reap what i sow. so no loss this week just STAGNANT. I WILL NEVER TEASE AGAIN, I WILL NEVER TEASE AGAIN, I WILL NEVER TEASE AGAIN…………..at least till next week 
as most of you know my grandma went home to be with the lord last week. I have to tell you that it was a very beautiful thing. I was there when she took her last breath along with other family members. We played Elvis love songs for her because she loved him best. She was so peaceful. I could see a light around her and I know in my know that it was Jesus coming to get her. within minutes her wrinkles in her face went away. even though i will miss her i know she is no longer in pain. i know she is at peace. i will miss the times at had with her. the times at kings park swimming when i was little, the times i grew up and brought my own children to kings park, tanning with her, and when she no longer worked at the park going to her house on my day off bringing her coffee from dunkin and sitting with her watching talk shows about “my baby’s daddy” what laughs. someone sent this quote to me and i’d like to share.

well that works for me! i’ll try to remember that when i feel like the world is crashing in!
so this morning i was on my way to work and had quite a moment. i had a car pull out in front of me. very close……and i mean very close. i slammed on and locked up the brakes and just barely missed this person. there is no logically reason that i did not hit this person. with my medic backround and having to know the whole velocity and mechanism of injury thing i know that i should have been in a nasty car accident. i have seen many accidents and i should’ve hit this person. all i saw was white (the color of the car) i was traveling about 50 mph (speed limit is 45 where i was) so needless to say this wouldn’t have been pretty. I thought about stories you hear about stuff like this. I know that jesus was watching over me at that instant and protected me. thank you for that my friend! I still have alot of people to aggrevate in this lifetime! LOL (just so you know i DID NOT say anything, honk my horn at all……i did THINK a few choice things but decided to thank God instead)

Last night I was scanning through the channels and came across the movie WHERE THE HEART IS. I really like this movie so I decided to watch the end of it. now i’ve seen this movie a lot. but i never really noticed this song that plays at the end of the movie until last night. It came at me like a ray of light. The words, well they touched me deeply. they aren’t some kind of great words of wisdom or anything like that but I have been on the journey with my relationship with god. This is my love song to him, how I feel when I can’t find the words………..which seems to happen alot when i feel like i’m completely broken. i realize that i don’t have to have the words, he knows my heart and when i can’t find the words there is a silent conversation between us. thank you my father for this journey. even though I don’t like all the things i must go through to get to where i need to be, you give me the strength to pick myself up and keep moving forward. so here’s to you………………
